Imperfect Geometry
Share
Imperfect Geometry celebrates the beauty of irregularity — a collection where balance is found in asymmetry, and precision gives way to human touch. Each piece is handmade using deadstock and upcycled fabrics, giving forgotten textiles a new story while reducing waste.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, the collection embraces imperfection as a form of quiet elegance. Every pillow, runner, and throw features patchwork construction, a centuries-old technique of rejoining remnants into something whole, and sashiko stitching, the Japanese art of decorative reinforcement originally used to repair garments. Hand quilting ties it all together — a slow, tactile process that adds dimension and soul.
No two pieces are ever alike. The angles, seams, and stitches form their own rhythm — a soft geometry guided more by intuition than by rule. This collection is a meditation on form, texture, and sustainability — an ode to the imperfect balance between design and craft.
“I love making this collection — every piece carries its own story. My hope is that people feel the intention behind the work: respect for the materials, the craft, and the imperfect beauty that connects them.” — Camilo Quintero, Soft Haus
